PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Quality Engineer: Polar Tank Trailer LLC, Holdingford, MN                                              Oct 2005 to Current


Responsibilities:

-          Develop, recommend & implement overall quality system of the organization and also maintain quality manual to meet the Polar’s quality goal.

-          Plan & perform SPC in all three different plants and take necessary action, utilizing MiniTab as SPC software.

-          Perform RCA, review CAR, take Corrective / Preventive Action & also implement / maintain Control Plans throughout the plants by using problem solving techniques.

-          Perform internal audit / supplier audit and maintain supplier score card. Interact with suppliers to meet the customer quality expectation & warranty issues. Recommend Quality Inspectors to take necessary step with non-conformance material and conduct MRB meeting.

-          Develop Quality, Cellular Manufacturing & Benchmarking Road Maps for Polar Tank, and also implement Quality Function Deployment.

-          Responsible for all warranty claims & customer complaints, maintain centrally located warranty database, day to day interaction with customers to resolve warranty issues, perform RCA and  develop Action Plan to eliminate the reoccurrence of the problems in future. Conduct bi-weekly warranty conference and issue monthly warranty report. Also responsible for submitting quarterly report to federal government (NHTSA) related to warranty & federal recalls.

-          Create KPI’s and issue monthly KPI reports of all three plants and recommend / take necessary action if needed.

-          Highly involved in six sigma, continuous improvement & lean manufacturing projects. 

 

Quality Engineer Intern: Talon Innovation, Sauk Rapids, MN                              Jan 2005 to May 2005


Responsibilities:
